Linksman Golf x7 2 wheel assembly

Today I will be discussing how to assemble your three wheel x7 push cart by Linksman golf. The three wheel cart comes fully assembled with the three wheels separate. All that you need to do is take the frame of the cart and unfold it to get it to the assembly position and then put your wheels on the cart. The cart comes with two side wheels and one front wheel. The side wheels basically pops into place with the lever. All you need to do is slide it on and it pops in place. The same goes for the left wheel. The front wheel is a little bit different. It is essentially a bike tire. What you have to do is unlock the front wheel mechanism.

To unlock it, you press the lever down and bring the frame up. You want to now lock the frame back in place and put your tire on. Just like a bike tire, you want to tighten it up so it’s pretty tight, then you’re ready to go. Also, on this cart, you want to make sure the front lever is down so the golf bag can rest on it. Now you’re pretty much ready to roll the cart. That is the Linksman x7 three wheel push cart. It comes in two versions, the air filled wheels and the x7 light version.

Linksman Golf x11 Three Wheel Push Cart

Hi my name is mike from Linksman golf. Today I’m going to discuss how to assemble your x11 three wheel mini push cart.

This is a brand new model that came out from Linksman golf and the main feature of this cart is to fold as small as possible. This cart is made for the player who has a small trunk or limited storage space in their car. Your three wheel push cart comes with three components the two wheels separated and the frame. This is the only thing you need to assemble on the push cart. The entire frame is together. What you want to do first is unlock the frame. There is a red lever here that you need to unlock. This lever is for the front wheel. Once you unlock that, you pull your front wheel up in the air and lock it in place. Next you want to grab the whole frame and pull it away from itself. Basically separate the frame from the body. And what it does is it locks in place. And then for your front wheel, to have it go straight, you push down and then twist. It then is locked in place.

This cart may seem complicated at first to assemble, but really it is not difficult at all. There is a little learning curve; the first time might take you a minute, after that it will be like a normal procedure. The side wheels are very easy to put on. Basically what you do is put them in the hole on the side of the cart and they lock in place. Last but not least, you have an upper score card holder bracket basically which is folded underneath itself. You want to press the two side buttons to deactivate the score card holder. This score card holder can adjust to different lie angles.

Say you are taller and want it higher in the air; you can press the buttons and have it go high or press it lower. If you want to put your drink in the cup holder so it doesn’t splash around, right in here and have it rest flat. The upper score card holder has some features where you can put some golf balls, some tees, pencils, score card holder. There is also a handy little compartment where you can put a wallet and keys and whatnot. Then next and last thing you want to do for your three wheel push cart here is to take the upper golf bag holder and put it in the go position. After that, you’re ready to go. This is your x 11 mini three wheel push cart by Linksman golf. It’s a great product I’m sure you will enjoy it, thank you for your time.

Linksman Golf X3 golf cart assembly - 8/4/2010

Linksman Golf X3 golf cart assembly

Hi, my name is mike from Linksman Golf Company. Today we are going to discuss how to assemble your new X3 Three Wheel push/pull cart from Linksman golf.

This is the only cart in our line that requires a lot of assembly. It is not very difficult at all; let me show you how it is done. Basically, in your box, you have your frame fully ready to go. First go ahead and open up your frame and lock it in place. From here, the only assembly you have now is the front wheel of the cart. The two side wheels are very simple to assemble. You just push and lock them in their place. For the front wheel of the cart what you want to do is open up the packet that came with it. It also comes with instructions in case you get stumped but you will find this video pretty helpful. What you’re going to do is take the front wheel of the golf cart and put it over the front wheel of the frame. There is a little brass button that you are going to put it over. So you are going to want to put it over right side up over the frame, slide it on and lock it in place. Then you will have a bolt. The bolt goes into the hole. Make sure the square head is to the left side of the cart. Then on the other side, you have the nut and other items.

You want to first put the adjuster on and tighten. You then want to tighten the nut and place the cap over the adjuster. Now, your front wheel is assembled. Then, the next thing I will show you is the side wheels. The side wheels go right in to the holes on the left and right and they do lock right into place. That is pretty much it as far as assembly. The last thing I want to show you is how to fold the cart. To actually fold and unfold the cart, the lever is actually right under the score card holder. The lever goes over the brass button and locks in place. To unlock, you press the button and pull it up. After that you are good to go. This is your X3 Three Wheel push/pull cart from Linksman golf.

What to look for in a golf cart - 2/3/2010

What are the features to look for when buying a Three Wheel Golf Push Cart?

Over the past few years the golf industry has perfected the category of three wheel golf push carts and offers the player a wide variety of choices, styles and price points. Being an expert in this field we attempt to simplify the buying process by isolating the key features one should focus on when purchasing a 3 wheel golf push or pull cart.

First and foremost there are many price points available to the consumer when purchasing a golf trolley ranging from an entry level cart for $79.99 to an electric remote controlled golf cart for $1999.99. There are many brands that cater to different customers with budgets or unlimited discretionary income. The Linksman Golf brand offers a wide selection of golf push carts at very reasonable prices as they sell directly to the consumer and have 8 models ranging from $79.99 to $134.99. Bag Boy owned by Dynamic Brands targets more mid range pricing with carts ranging from $100 - $230.00. Sun Mountain Sports is the category leader in the golf industry and simply offers 2 models of push carts and an electronic battery operated golf cart. There are numerous other brands that fill niches in the industry and typically average $200 per cart. These various brands include ClicGear, Cadie Golf, Axglo, and Upright Caddy.

One of the most important features in a golf cart is how the cart folds up. There are numerous carts that fold to a very small compact size and there are others that fold while allowing you to keep the golf bag attached to the golf cart. The space you have in your car is a determining factor on what cart will best suit your needs.

Most carts have the ability to adjust the lie angle of the cart handle so it can be positioned properly for tall or short golfers when pushing the cart. This is a nice feature if you are very short or very tall otherwise it should not be a critical factor in your purchase.

Whether the cart has 2, 3 or 4 wheels the material of the tire is important. Most carts used to be made out of air filled rubber tires with solid aluminum rims and spokes similar to a bike. The cost of the these tires are quite expensive to manufacture so most vendors quickly improved the quality and consistency of eva/polymer (i.e. plastic) wheels so that the performance is the same if not superior to air filled wheels with out the maintenance issues.

All carts come with a braking system to prevent the cart from rolling away from the player if parked on an incline. A brake is nice to have but it is not essential to use at all times as some players play flat courses or can position the cart at the proper angle on any hill. Brakes are designed in 2 manners: a foot brake or hand brake and both of them are effective and useful.

It is important to also make sure the cart is not too heavy to pick up. Carts range in weight depending on the material and the accessories added to the frame (10lbs to 20lb+) Electric Battery operated carts will weigh much more than this as they incorporate a rechargeable battery and motors which are heavy parts.

All manufacturers will warranty their products and it is wise to see the warranty that is offered as carts will brake over time if you put some miles on them. Most cart companies are reasonable and will supply parts that are easy to replace for a minimal fee.

Three wheel golf push carts have really made a surge in the golf industry and have become socially acceptable in the US market where they simply weren’t common place as they are in other countries. They simply make playing golf a great experience as you incorporate exercise into your round as well as a more focused experience on the links.

Advantages of the 3 wheel golf cart - 2/1/2010

Advantages of 3 Wheel Golf Carts Over 2 Wheel Golf Carts

A major component of an enjoyable golfing experience is the ability to take pleasure in the outdoor surroundings and terrain of the course you are playing. The best way to have this experience come to fruition is to walk the golf course you are playing. Carrying a golf bag can be tiresome and heavy which affects your performance on the golf course. The best way to enjoy the natural terrain while not exhausting your golf game is to invest in a 3 wheel push cart. These 3 wheel push carts have many benefits and features compared to their smaller less adequate cousins, the 2 wheel pull cart.

The first and most obvious benefit to a 3 wheel push cart is the trolley’s overall stability. With 3 wheels a push cart is much less likely to tip over on uneven terrain, especially while the cart is in motion. With a 2 wheel pull cart, one slight move in either direction can send your cart, bag, and clubs crashing to the ground, sometimes causing damage to your equipment.

The second major advantage of using a 3 wheel push cart is the golfers comfort while putting the cart in motion. By pushing the cart instead of pulling, you allow your arms to work in a more natural position, similar to the position of driving a car. With pull carts, you have to drag your bag behind you, which can cause strain on your arms and surrounding joints, not a recipe for an enjoyable round of golf.

A great feature of the 3 wheel push cart is the availability of a foot brake. Many times with 2 wheel pull carts, the golfer cannot stage their cart on any sort of slope due to the fear of the cart rolling away and eventually tipping over. With a 3 wheel cart you are able to lock the wheels with the press of a button, usually with your foot. This now gives the golfer the ability to park or stage their cart on any terrain without fear of the cart rolling away, tipping over and damaging your clubs.

Due to a 3 wheel push carts larger size and structure; accessories are much more prominent. Not all 2 wheel pull carts have storage for wallet, keys, balls, and tees, however most if not all 3 wheel carts have this storage capability on the actual unit itself. This greatly reduces the chances of misplacing your day to day golf essentials while playing.

The 3 wheel push cart provides more stability, versatility, comfort, and quality than its 2 wheel competitor. They allow the golfer to have a more relaxing, less strenuous round while still providing an outlet to exercise while playing.
